MOM AND DAD: How's your TRUST and HONOR?

?This is what I, Segunda thought about what happened between me and my parents when I was growing up. Tragic memories seem the hardest to forget.

TRUST
Parents, do you trust your child? when the day that child of yours whom you nurtured in your womb while the husband breaks a leg to keep you healthy for 9 months and saw the baby once it has entered the world -
DID YOU TRUST YOUR BABY?

When the baby turned into a child and saw that he can do little steps, gradually walking and running around the park and at home-
                                                              DID TRUST YOUR CHILD?

When the Child grew strong and became a boy and saw the first time he went to school, the first time you saw him with friends, the first time he went with out with his buddies-
                                                          DID YOU TRUST YOUR BOY?

When that Boy grew up and became a Man and saw that he has changed, the first time he drank his beer and puffed that cigarette, the girls he went out with and all the stuffs he did on his own -
                                                         DID YOU TRUST YOUR MAN?

When that Man began exploring his own world, his life and wanted to find himself and train himself to become independent and said the words "hey, I'm OK now. I'm ready to turn off the auto-pilot and take my life to my own direction"
DID YOU PUT YOUR TRUST IN HIM?

HONOR
Mama and Papa, when Segunda was young and promised that he would get a reward if he was good at something, you forced him to be a guitarist and actually he liked it after sometime, but he played his guitar to his own liking and not yours. When he wanted to play guitar for a rock band as a reward. Did he really have to persuade you to give in to his reward?
Mama and Papa! DID YOU HONOR WHAT YOU SAID?

When Segunda was young and saw daddy's friends puffing cigarettes and asked his dad "daddy, do you smoke those?" and Daddy said "No son, I don't" and the little boy, a little curious goes to mommy and asks "Mommy, does daddy smoke those?" and Mommy said "No son, he doesn't". The little boy played inside the house while the elders drank the night away. After some time, the little boy was tired and goes outside to ask mommy and daddy to go home, he caught daddy puffing and blowing smokes like a fucking dragon. The little boy got confused and got hurt and said to himself "But they said daddy didn't smoke".
Mama and Papa! DID YOU HONOR WHAT YOU SAID?

Segunda grew up strong and proud, he worked hard to put HONOR to his family name, to make his parents proud and finally get them saying "that's my son" unlike only being introduced when the visitor notices the little boy. One day he asked "Can I go, because I can, I can make it there, I'm ready and I'm a man" Mom and Dad said "YES!" So he planned the trip, counted his money and had everything pre-planned for the last 3 months. He was excited, it was the opportunity to be alone, to train himself to be independent and to search for his identity, what he really wants in the future. One day he received a message from Dad saying the word "NO, your trip is cancelled". Segunda got hurt, it was the time to prove himself, to search his soul and to fulfill a life long dream to be somewhere he wanted to explore on his own, the trip for the mind, heart and soul. He cried, destroyed things in his room and said to himself "THIS WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING!!!".
MOM AND DAD! DID YOU HONOR WHAT YOU SAID?!

IT HAS CHANGED EVERYTHING.
